shape

Author: Antony Gormley
This piece reminds me of a complex jamiga game. I found this piece interesting to look at like a magic eye image. He uses rectangular shapes of all sizes ranging from light and dark to contrast and to give the figure volume / mass.

Antony Gormley has had a career of art for 40 plus years. His art is shown in San Ildefonso (Mexico City), Kunsthaus Bregenz (Austria) and State Hermitage Museum (St Petersburg). Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Venice Biennale and Documenta 8 (Kassel, Germany).”
